Book Marketing Reference Page

Those of you who write nonfiction, or who have ever published something with Wiley, have probably heard of the Wiley Author's Guide to Marketing and Publicity. For those of you who haven't heard of it, it's a giant PDF jam-packed with great ideas on how to promote your book before and after it publishes.

Most of the ideas are geared toward nonfiction writers, but I've seen fiction-writing friends receive copies from their agents too, just because the suggestions in it are so useful.

Well, good news! It's now available online. Here! In a super easy-to-follow format!

Even if you aren't published, there are some great "before publication" tips that I'd advise taking a look at. And the social networks section offers easy get-started tips, for those of you new to the blogosphere/Twitterverse/etc.

  1. This is awesome! I went to a session on marketing at Writer's Digest so it got me thinking of what I can do now to create a platform for myself. This sounds like a great resource. :)
