RTW: Book Characters as Neighbors

YA Highway's 72nd Road-Trip-Wednesday asks: Which book character would you like most as a next door neighbour?

For me, this one is a no-brainer.



If I can't be a Weasley, then I definitely would like the next best thing: to live next door to them. Sneaking over the hedges to play with the gnomes in their garden... Stealing brooms from the shed to play Quidditch... Hitting on Fred (because he's the hotter twin, obviously)... What? I can dream!
My one real complaint about Harry Potter World was its lack of a Burrow, after all:


(seriously, just imagine hanging out here on your weekends. I would run out of sugar every day just for an excuse to peek in the windows! ... but not in a creepy way like that sounded. ahem.)

Too bad I'm a Muggle so they'd probably have to wipe my memory every other day. But that's alright. Frequent flashy-thing-ing didn't ruin anyone's minds in MIB, so I think I'd be okay!


(maybe if I get one of these suits and deceptively non-impressive-looking pistols they wouldn't Obliviate my memory every time I saw something weird happening...)

Other bonus of living by the Weasleys: the Lovegoods are right over the hedges!

    Haha! You're like the third person (including myself) who's chosen the Weasleys! I think it's because they're awesome and the obvious choice, at least in my opinion.

    The Weasleys are awesome! They were my choice as well because it would just be sheer fun living in their neighborhood. Looks like they're the popular choice. Figured they would be. Oh, and bonus, Luna also lives in the area. She's a cool girl.

    Ah! But you'd just have to get them to trust you, so they'd let you in on all the wizarding world's secrets without having to zap you.
