World's Largest Cat?

Whilst browsing through record shops in SoHo, I may have stumbled across the World's Largest Cat...



What's that, you say? It doesn't look so large in this photo? Probably because my body is blocking his bulk. Allow me to zoom in:



I included my hand for size-comparison.
When he stood up and stretched, he reached from my hips to the middle of my chest. And I am not a short girl. Meep. >.>
It's official. Cats will soon take over the world. Hope you're nice to your kittehfaces, everyone...

    @Mia oh god. it would be squished! my cats do that, but luckily they are still kitten-size...

    it will be a creepy, stalky, paw you in the face annoyingly as you try to sleep, mess with your plants, kitty litter everywhere, hairbarfball, sofa-clawed, reflecty eyed, in it only for yourself kind of day when the cats take over. lets hope that never happens. woof woof, sayeth the dog people of the world.

    Love huge cats. I have a big cat. When he stands up on his back legs he can put his front paws on my belly button, when he's on all fours his head comes up to my knee. This cat looks and sounds like he's as tall as my big cat.

    Woe - that cat was huge, but cute. Reminds me of this giant bunny we saw at a fair. Three times the side of my child's head in a pic - hilarious!

    You found Chet from Christopher Moore's books (You Suck and Bite Me)! We used to have a cat just like that, and he'd climb up on me to sleep. If he laid on my diaphragm, I couldn't get enough breath to tell him to get off!
