You Know You're a Writer When...

This weekend, my mom, brother and I went to see a show (not Wicked. I just like that picture of Mom, because it's so appropriate... *hides*).
We saw War Horse, which I thought was going to be weird, because it's about a horse, and half the main characters are giant puppet-horses, and how can you write a serious and depressing WWI play about giant puppets?
But it turned out to be really well-done and AWESOME.
Anyway. So we're waiting outside the theater for the doors to open, and Mom asked me something about where this one group of well-dressed people were going, why they were entering first or whatever, and I tried to say "I think that's where the VIPs go."
Except instead I said "I think that's where the WIPs go." And then I sat there for half a minute trying to figure out why WIP didn't sound right in this context, before I remembered that Works-In-Progress are not what I meant to reference. Someone's been revising a little too hard lately, hmmmm?
