Writer's Campaign: Build Your Online Platform

I heard about this a few months ago, and I've been anxiously waiting all summer for the next campaign to open. Rachael Harrie hosts this platform building campaign regularly. Here's the basic premise:

There are a ton of us writers/authors/bloggers/industry people online trying to build our online platform. So why not join forces and help each other build our platforms, while building ours at the same time?

This particular campaign runs from August 22nd to October 31st, and there are still spots available (but sign up fast because it's closing soon!). Some more details about the events from Rachael's post:

During the Campaign, I'll be running Campaigner Challenges and the Campaigner Notice-Board. Other than that, go for your life! I've set up a Campaigner Yahoo Group here, for you to chat among yourselves, and there'll be lots of Twitter-talk at #writecampaign.

Mark these dates in your diary now:

First Campaigner Challenge - Monday, September 5
Second Campaigner Challenge - Thursday, September 22
Third Campaigner Challenge - Monday, October 17

Each Friday I'll be running a Campaigner Notice-Board, where you can announce blogfests, book launches, things you'd like to share with your other Campaigners, etc etc. You'll need to send me the information in advance, and I've made up a form to make things easier. If you want me to include your details in this Friday's post (August 26), please fill out this form.

I think this is a great opportunity to meet new people, gain new followers, find new blogs to read... And just to have fun :)

Also, if you sign up, let me know!

  26. Hello! I'm in your YA group. I also do sci-fi, but I didn't sign up for that campaign group since I'm not working on any of my sci-fi books at the moment. I always love hearing someone else is into YA sci-fi, since it seems so underrepresented at the moment.

  29. Just a heads up, I have set up a Google Reader with all of NA/Crossover Group 56 in it to help organize all of our blogs - I am missing 1 person (technical issues I am trouble shooting) but hope to get them added in soon! Link is:
