I know I've been gone for a long time, for which I apologize. I've had a lot of things basically explode in my personal life, which have been really hard to deal with. At the same time, an agent requested revisions for Stray, which is super exciting. So not all has been bad. But that has also kept me super busy!
Today, I'm just grateful for my writing. It's what keeps me going through stressful/painful situations, and lets me escape reality for a while. I'm also grateful for my favorite books -- I've been rereading loads of old favorites, that also make great escapes.
Especially Harry Potter. That series has the joint effect of making me want to move to Diagon Alley and live there NOW, and also reminding me that my life doesn't suck that much. At least the most evil wizard in the universe isn't out for my head on a platter.
Plus Mark Reads Harry Potter makes rereading the books so hilarious and exciting.
Yes, I know I just reread the entire HP series over the summer, but I didn't have the 2nd book with me in NYC at the time, so technically I didn't read the whole thing and can totally start over again legitimately... DON'T JUDGE ME! >.>
In conclusion, Happy Thanksgiving to the USians among you, Happy Thursday to the rest of the world, and expect more posts soon! Possibly about how awesome HP7 part 1 was. OMG.
Never apologize from being away from the blog, life gets in the way! I really hope things are looking up for you now (especially since a new year has begun). take as much time as you need to deal with personal matters.
