Monster Seagulls

One thing that none of the tour-guides warn you about, none of the guidebooks for the U.K. think to discuss... Are the monster seagulls. Perhaps the guides are too frightened of what the birds' wrath will entail if they reveal the secret of their existence. Or perhaps the monster gulls have already infiltrated their brains and are controlling their minds from a distance. Who knows?
All I know is that when this bad boy starts to eye you up, it's time to start running the other direction.
The first time I saw a British seagull from across monument square in Newcastle, I asked my fiance why there was an albatross chilling in the middle of town. Seriously, if I'd been standing next to it, the thing would have come up past my knees. And I'm 5'10".
In other news, winter has begun to set in over here in Englandia. Surprisingly, Edinburgh, Scotland was warmer this weekend than its neighbors to the south. OK weather, I give up trying to figure you out. You win.
