Motherhood = Expensive

Now, my babies are tinier, harrier, and more mobile than most...

But they definitely give me some small idea what motherhood would be like. Hectic, unpredictable, stressful and EXPENSIVE.
My kitten is the girl, Tonks (on top in photo). She's been having issues all along, mainly with peeing inappropriately (aka, all over the house. le sigh). which okay, annoying, but we can deal with it, and try to train her, and hopefully she might grow out of it.
We've had her tested for a UTI (urinary tract infection, common in females) a couple times, no results. Then yesterday her symptoms changed dramatically (in a way I won't go into details about, in case anyone is reading this over lunch...). We rushed her to the vet this morning, where they did a round of tests.
The new infection appears to be unrelated to the random peeing, and seems to be an intestinal parasite of some kind. Yay.
So now my poor baby is home sick with even more problems, I have had no sleep from stressing about her all night.
And the vet bill? Let's just say, it's a good thing Mommy has a steady job, babies... *DIES*
