My roomie and I stumbled across this list of 111 Male Characters from British Literature (in order of bangability), and we disagreed with many of the missing persons (and also the faiiil order of some of these).
SO.
We have drawn up our own list! (not limited to Brit-lit).

  1. i'd bump up Colin from Wrinkle in Time and also Edmund Dantes from The Count of Monte Cristo. And did i miss Heathcliff from Wuthering Heights? Or am i the only one who likes tortured, un-helpable men?

  3. Glad to see Peter Pan and Robin Hood. The lack of Heathcliff is a little sad; same for Puck from Midsummer Night's Dream. Huge points for including Howl and Corlath (though Luthe would've been acceptable, too). Nice list!
