Blast from the Past

As I revise my memoir, I find myself looking through a lot of older photos. Mostly for inspiration, to place myself more fully in the time and place I'm writing about.
Some of these pictures I'd completely forgotten about. The things I chose to photograph catch me by surprise all over again.
Here's one such image. This is the view from the highest point in Park Güell, designed by Antoni Gaudí, Barcelona's most famous architect (and therefore a huge tourist draw):



This picture captures the Catalan spirit so well. Art, rebellion, and a stupid tourist joke.

  1. Good luck on your revisions! I studied abroad in Spain during college and loved it.

    BTW, the YA memoir I was thinking of last night is called THREE LITTLE WORDS. It's pretty good!
