So, by now I'm sure most of you have seen the numerous commercials for that new "King of the Nerds" series on TBS, even if you haven't watched the show yet (mostly cause if you don't have cable it's not available online BAD MOVE TBS, BAD MOVE. ahem).
But here's something you might not know! I was almost on the show. Ha!
Really, I made it to the final casting call. Which was a cool experience in and of itself. I don't know if I'm necessarily a "I want to be on TV" person (watching it now and trying to imagine how stressful that would be is a bit weird), but I think it would have been a fun experience if I'd made it into the house. Alas, such was not meant to be. But I did have a pretty fun time making the application video. And you were supposed to make it private and not tell anyone about it or post it anywhere, but hell, half the people on the show left theirs unprotected on YouTube, so whatever! Here's mine, filmed in Brooklyn last October in the lovely Corrie's backyard, because it was a spur-of-the-moment idea to apply... :)
